The high season is upon us, and with that the arrivals to Bali have an increase of almost 25% on arrival numbers from 2007, which is heading towards a record-breaking number of 2 million foreign visitors for 2008. This means that hotels and villa rentals are in heavy demand, as are investment opportunities with developments and villa sales. This month Bali will be celebrating its unique celebration of Hari Raya Galungan, which is held over a 3-day period from the 19 – 20th. If you are lucky enough to witness this colourful and lively time, the streets will be adorned with long bamboo like decorations at entrances that are called ‘penjor’ promoting wealth and prosperity to all those that pass. These will also be adorning our villas and properties – so prosperity to us all through Paradise Property.

The celebrations will continue on the 17th in the name of Independence, marking 63 years that Indonesia, is simply, well, Indonesia.
