Kerobokan is located between Seminyak/Oberoi, Umalas/Canggu and Denpasar/Badung areas. Although not as popular as Seminyak, Kerobokan has over the past few years, begun to find a niche in the property market, as becoming an area where many clients are now investing, because land is still reasonably priced there. The area has also grown, with many new restaurants, boutiques, mini-marts, supermarkets, bars, medical clinics & hotels opening up & quite recently a bicyclee & skate park. The location is excellent, as it is still close to all the ‘hip’ areas such as Seminyak, Petitenget, Canggu & Umalas, but has a more relaxed ‘suburbia’ feel to it.
Kerobokan is quieter than Seminyak & not overcrowded with tourists, party goers and bars. There are quite a few great dining places to eat at, including Cafe Moka, Sardine, Metis, Republik 45, Mamasan, Livingstone and Bali Buda, just to name a few. Medical centres are located in and around the Kerobokan area, including Balimed, Bhaktivedanta Medical Centre, Puri Medical Centre, Hannah and Artha Medical Centre. There are also many good international schools in and around the Kerobokan area, including The Australian International School, Montessori School Bumbak Campus, The Sunrise School & the Lollypop School. There are many new & modern villas that have been built in Kerobokan over the past few years and although there are some good and bad and old and new areas, Kerobokan has seen a boost in the property market, with many buyers looking for cheap and affordable properties, in a family oriented area with a relaxing and secure environment.
